Childrens Workshops from 10.30am - Clun Memorial Hall

During the day we have workshops for Children at Clun Memorial Hall, make something to wear for joining in with the Monday procession.

Instant Wit on Tour from 6.00pm - Clun Memorial Hall

A fun night of Improvisational comedy for those from 12 years and up.

Sunday 5th May

The Frost Queen’s Street Fair, The Square, 12noon - 5pm FREE

Street entertainment with Jack The Jester (MC), Dave Southern, Swords of Chivalry, Animal Man, The Clun Mummers, Morris Dancing, and Live Music from Star of The Sea.

Whisky River in Concert, The Square  7.00pm onwards  NEW for 2013

Open air concert. Refreshments available from both pubs, No Bones Jones and Cafe Continental burgers, hot dogs and doughnuts

Monday 6th May The Green Man enters Clun

11.00am Morris Dancers in the Square

11:30am Entertainment starts on the Bridge

With Jack the Jester and The Samba Band

12.00am Procession Starts

Those who have made props  in the workshops are encouraged to take part in the procession. Following their chosen winner the Green Man or Frosty. booooooooo! Morris Dancers, and Street Entertainers join in.

12.15pm The Battle on the Bridge

Frosty the Spirit of Cold tries to repel the Green Man as he tries to take over the Clun Valley. The Green Man must defeat the Frost Queen in The Battle on the Bridge or there will be no summer in the Clun Valley!

12:45pm The Craft Fair in the grounds of Clun Castle

Stalls, traditional craft demonstrations and entertainment from Dave Southern, the Bang On Samba Band, battle re-enactments with Swords of Chivalry, roaming entertainers, fire show, circus acts, magician, duck racing, live music, beer tent and refreshments.

Tickets: £4.00 Adults, £1.00 Accompanied Children, Under age 6 free

5.00pm The Festivities Finish
