As in previous years, the Clun Green Man Craft Fair (on Monday 5 May) will have a diverse range of high quality traders in 2008, many of them drawn from the local area.

A complete list of traders can now be found here (pdf file).

In 2008 we will have over 50 stalls in the Clun Castle meadow on Monday 5 May.

Traders will include wood and stone carvers, garden ornaments, jewellery made from beads, brass and papier mache, textiles, accessories and clothing, painted bowls and boxes, as well as artists' watercolours and greetings cards.

Handmade goats milk soap and other products will also be on sale and a group of artisans will display their skills. These will include a blacksmith, clog maker, bodger and woodsman and a potter.

As well as crafts we will have plenty of really good food - from Organic Smokehouse delicacies to a barbecue, vegetarian foods, Indian snacks, oatcakes, real lemonade, honey, fruit juices, Welsh lamb dishes, sweets and, of course, beer and tea tents.

Local and conservation organisations such as English Heritage, Shropshire Historic Churches Trust and the Wildlife Trust will be in attendance too with stalls and information.
